New Sock Kit Swap about to begin!

Whew - whirlwind of travel finally winding down...

(Evidently, I'm very alliterative this morning!)

Signed up for the next round of the Hogwarts Sock Kit Swap yesterday. It was very fun to do and I got a kick-ass package of knitting goodness from my spoiler. ...like I need the guilt, right? But still, I feel guilty now that I've started this when I don't blog for awhile...

So, work is nutty, and I have two straight weeks of travel coming up - Orlando, San Francisco and Vancouver. Then home a week. Then Halifax. Sheesh. So, blogging will probably be scarce, but I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, I'll be the girl in the window seat knitting and trying to avoid talking to the person next to her...

Vacation!

Heading out tomorrow for a little vacation - can't wait. Feel bad that the hubs can't make it, but my ma and I will have fun :)

And another one, this is Leftovers (sending much knitterly love to the Knitty.com!). The yarn is a mish-mosh of all different stuff, the brown is Knitpicks Merino in Cinnamon, the blue is Cascade 220 Heathers, the gray and white is cheapo Lion stuff I bought at Michael's to bulk up the stash, the yellow is leftover Cascade from a Harry Potter scarf and the orange is Heilo. I think. It's very 70's, but I like it - I keep calling it the "That 70's show" vest:
